TRY / yield-bearing stablecoin
wiTRY · issued by Brix Money (iTRY backed by a BVI-regulated fund holding Turkish money market instruments). unverified
Read from the sources below on . Legal terms and contract addresses change rarely, so we re-verify these on a longer clock than the numbers above.
Still the standout instrument in this slice on structure: live, freely transferable, genuinely on chain, non USD. The 45% we previously published is withdrawn. Brix's own property carries three mutually inconsistent numbers and not one of them is a dated product yield. The homepage says Turkiye (TRY): ~45% APY and then disclaims it in the same page, saying reference rates are informational and do not represent actual yields on any Brix product. The meta description on /itry says ~30% APY. The Current wiTRY yield field on /itry renders as an empty placeholder. The dashboard reports a wiTRY APY of 22.7% on a 7 day rolling basis, undated and denominated in USD, which is the wrong currency to compare. The trade press figure we cited appears to have lifted the disclaimed marketing number. Arithmetically 45% sits 8 points above the TCMB policy rate of 37% and 5 points above the 40% overnight lending ceiling, which a Turkish money market fund cannot sustain; 45% matches the Jan 2024 to Jan 2025 window when the policy rate itself was 45 to 50%. Separately, a wiTRY/USDM market went live on Morpho on 2026-07-29 advertising up to 39% APY in USD. That is a leveraged looped figure and must not be read as a base yield. iTRY (the non yield base stablecoin) is at Ethereum 0xb492B4aFD9658093694CF9452D5C272e8230F3B0, verified on Ethplorer, 424,419,007 supply, 20 holders, and MegaETH 0x996ce957408804fec19237d866799d9c7076e48c. wiTRY Ethereum supply is 368,380,157 with only 12 holders, so this is early and highly concentrated. Brix raised $5.5M (announced Apr 2026); Circle and Zodia Custody are associated, with Zodia holding reserves and Proof of Solvency from Accountable Capital. Brix offers TRY only; Brazil and Egypt are referenced as future targets with no product committed. Whatever the true rate is, it is a lira carry and carries commensurate depreciation risk.
